Competences:
INRA Transfert is a project management consulting company specialized in the field of innovating technologies arising from agriculture-related research. INRA Transfert’s team manages the technology portfolio of INRA and supports development of innovative start-up companies. Through its "European projects" activity, INRA Transfert assists the key players in Research and Innovation in setting up and managing their European research projects and networks.
Thanks to a team combining scientific background and management skills, the Europe department of INRA Transfert has a strong expertise in:
- Helping researchers in the conception, construction and writing of relevant proposals especially regarding the health, agriculture, and environment topics
- Managing collaborative projects from very large to smaller ones. INRA Transfert is in charge of the management of four IP (Co-Extra, Basysbio, Noveltree and TriticeaeGenome), two NoE (Evoltree, Endure), an EST NuSISCO, two SSA (Epipagri and Trans2Tech) and three STREP (Rescape, FSO and EnergyPoplar).
Additionally, in view of dissemination of the project results, INRA Transfert put at the disposal of the project the unique expertise holds by its Technology Transfer department in:
- Managing technology portfolios through analysing inventions and their environment, searching for industrial partners, negotiating terms and conditions of technology transfer.
- Supporting development of innovative start-up companies by:
- Defining a business project around the know-how or patented technology to be transferred
- Determining IP related results to guarantee conditions for product commercialisation
- Organising the technology transfer to the innovation company.
Role:
INRA Transfert will lead the administrative and financial Management work, risk management, logistics as well as the management and implementation of the collaborative workspace
Staff members’ profile:
Luc Ozanne, Luc Ozanne, MSC in Agronomy and Biotechnology, is senior consultant at the European Department of INRA Transfert since 2004. He advises and assists researchers and project managers in the operational management of research projects and networks. His responsibilities encompass: feasibility studies, creating public and private partnerships, managing projects using process-based approaches, disseminating and promoting results, assisting in the management of industrial property rights. Before joining INRA Transfert, he was responsible during four years for international market analysis in the agri-food business at Louis Dreyfus Negoce (one of the largest worldwide traders in grains, oilseeds and their by-products) and UbiFrance (French Agency for international business development).
Emmanuelle Lagendijk, European Project Manager at the European Departement of INRA Transfert, holds an engineer diploma in biology. After a research/management experience at the French Agency of Food Safety (AFSSA) in microbiology, she joined INRA Transfert to be in charge of European Research and Development FP7 Projects.
