WP Leader: Alan H. Schulman (MTT, E-mail: alan.schulman@helsinki.fi)
WP6 aims at providing training in emerging technological approaches, disseminating results, and transferring technology to industry. Training and dissemination comprise two key components of TriticeaeGenome. Training concerns the researchers working in universities, public research institutions, and industry; whereas, dissemination concerns the research community more broadly, as well as the stakeholders, in the application of the methods and technologies developed within TriticeaeGenome.
At the end of the last project year, the nine training courses listed below have been organized as scheduled with a total of 168 participants including 90 external collaborators. The public project website implemented regularly has reached 11 000 visits (from 123 different countries) since its creation. The project has been presented at 250 dissemination events through posters and lectures at international congresses in more than 30 different countries, for a total audience estimated at more than 85'000 people. A brochure presenting the project has been distributed, 20 articles referring to the TG project have been published as well as a TG newsletter.
